Embedding Videos in PowerPoint: Advanced Features

The First Step:

After you import your video files into your presentation, simply click on the video and you will notice that new video options appear in the ribbon at the top of the screen.

Items of Note:

- options exist for framing the video (much the same as for images in your presentation) and for playback

- playback options consist of specifying how the video will begin playing (e.g. on click or automatically), whether it will be fullscreen, etc.

- you also have the option to specify the starting and ending time and even make bookmarks in your video

- lastly,  it is important to note that while integrating web based video is convenient, you do not get all the same video editing options (or even framing options) with web video
